The Senior Costing Manager provides technical and specialist advice to develop and maintain activity based costing methodologies, standards and best practice models for NSW Health.

Health Manager level 4, starting salary from $141,974 - $169,151 p.a plus Super, with a 38-hour work week. This role is full time, with the option for part time.

What you'll be doing

As the Senior Costing Manager you will:

• Support the Manager, Clinical Cost Data Collections and Standards to analyse, refine and maintain activity based costing methodologies and best practice costing models/
• Facilitate development of standard costs for the delivery of health service products in accordance with the National Hospital Cost Data Collection (NHCDC) and NSW Clinical Costing Standards.
• Provide leadership across all aspects of activity based costing for NSW Health including cost transformations projects aiming to foster innovation and currency in costing practice.

About you

We are seeking motivated and committed individuals who can support the work of NSW Health with:

• Expertise in activity based costing, activity based funding and activity based management
• Working knowledge of health data systems used in NSW, particularly related to patient care, finance and costing (PPM)
• The ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
