Java Software Engineer

Develop and enhance trading software that make millions of daily trades. The Sydney based engineering team work a variety of applications & complex software systems that help solve the business needs.

The local Sydney team focus on a wide variety of applications and tools across multiple trading teams. This could include trading algorithms, options pricing, calculating volatility, market risk, market data and more. This is a hands-on role where you will thrive on the technology challenges and deliver on products from initiation to deployment. We are expanding several engineering teams.

Skills & Experience

  • At least 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer
  • Java 11 experience in the latest versions of Java is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with Python, Docker and Kubernetes
  • Comfortable in Linux environments
  • Experience gathering business requirements, communicating with key stakeholders and delivering solutions quickly
  • Prior knowledge of trading / capital markets is not required
