We are seeking a dedicated and engaging Primary Teacher for Early Childhood for an temporary full-time contract.
The successful applicant will be committed to maximising the engagement and progress of all students in a culture of excellence, innovation and opportunity through quality teaching and the provision of a wide range of opportunities for individual student achievement.
Essential Selection Criteria
· Being fully supportive of the objectives and ethos of Catholic education.
· Knowledge of the Western Australia Curriculum and the SCSA Judging Standards with the ability to organise, select and design content for effective teaching and differentiated learning.
· Experience using explicit teaching and play-based learning practices to meet EYLF and NQS outcomes.
· Demonstrate the ability to use assessment and continuous monitoring methods and tools to adjust the teaching practices to cater for the needs of all students.
· Display excellent classroom management, organisational, interpersonal and communication skills.
· Demonstrate the capability to work collaboratively with other staff to promote student learning
· Knowledge and experience with PreLit or Initial Lit and Talk 4 Writing is preferable but not essential.
Qualifications Required
· TRBWA Registered and Working with Children Check
· Accreditation to Teach Religious Education, or working towards
· Relevant 4 Year Early Childhood Tertiary Qualification.
