Our client, an established and growing busines within the industrial services sector, is expanding and seeking an experienced
Maintenance Supervisor
to take charge of daily workshop operations and lead a motivated team to success. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with proven leadership and maintenance experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

About The Role
You'll oversee daily workshop activities, manage vendors, ensure compliance, and keep things running efficiently. The workshop supports a fleet of
mobile plant equipment
- including graders, excavators, service trucks, and other heavy machinery - so a solid understanding of this type of gear will be valuable. It's a hands-on role where your leadership and problem-solving skills will make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise day-to-day workshop operations and maintenance activities
  • Manage external vendors and ensure compliance with service agreements
  • Monitor inventory, purchasing, and maintenance schedules
  • Lead by example to maintain a strong safety-first culture
  • Support and develop workshop staff, fostering teamwork and accountability
  • Ensure equipment is serviced, repaired, and operational on time and to standard

About You

  • Previous experience in maintenance or mechanical supervisory role
  • Strong organisational and vendor management skills
  • Confident using purchasing systems and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication and leadership ability
  • Safety-focused approach with attention to detail
