Cairns, Queensland, Australia Airport Development Group | ADG Full time $60,000 - $80,000 per year

Are you highly organised, solutions-focused, and ready to thrive in a fast-paced environment? We're looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Legal Administrative Officer to support our legal team. If you're someone who enjoys variety in your day and takes pride in delivering quality work with accuracy and care, this could be the opportunity that perfectly matches your skills and career ambitions.

About the Position

In this varied and engaging role, you'll provide critical administrative and research support to our in-house legal team. You'll be involved in a wide range of tasks from coordinating legal requests and managing contract workflows to maintaining legal registers, preparing reports, and supporting policy and procedure reviews. Your day might include liaising with stakeholders, coordinating external legal providers, conducting legal research, or assisting with the drafting of documents. Accuracy, discretion, and attention to detail are essential, as is a flexible, can-do attitude. This is a hands-on role where your contribution will directly support legal operations across the business, so no two days will look quite the same.

Selection Criteria

We're looking for someone who brings strong analytical and research skills, paired with the confidence to work independently and a willingness to collaborate in a close-knit team. You'll have a meticulous eye for detail and the ability to communicate clearly and professionally both in writing and in person. A proactive mindset and a solutions-focused approach will help you succeed, especially when juggling competing priorities in a dynamic environment. While relevant qualifications in Law are highly valued and can open up further career pathways within the business, they're not essential. More important is your attitude, adaptability, and commitment to delivering high-quality work. To be considered for this role, you'll also need to be eligible for, or able to obtain, the appropriate security clearances.

Why ADG?

At Airport Development Group, we take pride in creating a workplace that supports growth, balance, and wellbeing. You'll be part of a values-driven organisation that fosters collaboration and continuous learning. From ongoing development opportunities and a supportive leadership team to additional leave entitlements for eligible staff, we believe in recognising and rewarding your contributions. We also offer access to a comprehensive wellbeing program and salary packaging options.

Working at ADG means being part of a team that connects communities across the Northern Territory and your work will directly contribute to our commitment to safety, compliance, and operational excellence.

Ready to Apply?

If this sounds like the opportunity for you, we'd love to hear from you. Submit your application with your CV and a brief cover letter outlining your suitability for the role.

Join Us & Make an Impact

At ADG we embrace equality, diversity and inclusion. We encourage applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, people with disabilities, and individuals from culturally diverse backgrounds.

Join a forward-thinking team where your expertise will make a real impact. If you're a self-motivated professional with a passion for
Aviation Safety and Standards,
we'd love to hear from you.

Agencies should note that unsolicited resumes or floated profiles will not be accepted for this position and ADG will not pay any fees related to resumes that are submitted directly to hiring managers and not through our approved process. Where appropriate, the Talent Manager will work with our preferred panel of agencies to source candidates for roles.
