About the role

We are looking for a highly experienced Relief Hospitality Manager to join our team in Port Douglas, QLD on a 2-3 month contract. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our hospitality business and ensuring seamless service delivery to our guests. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute your expertise to a dynamic and growing organization in the vibrant regional hub of Port Douglas.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage all aspects of operations, including food and beverage, and maintenance
  • Oversee staffing, scheduling, training, and performance management to ensure high levels of customer service
  • Identify and resolve guest issues promptly to uphold our commitment to exceptional customer experiences
  • Collaborate with the wider management team to drive continuous improvement and innovation
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a senior hospitality management role,
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and motivating teams to deliver outstanding customer service
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work under pressure
  • Strong financial acumen and commercial awareness to manage budgets and drive profitability
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with guests, staff, and other stakeholders
  • Passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences

This role is available for immediate start to assist during the festive period.
