Aquarium & Pond Maintenance Technician – Melbourne (Full-Time or Part-Time)

Nature at Work is a long-established aquarium maintenance and leasing business servicing homes, offices, aged-care facilities, and schools across Melbourne. We've been creating beautiful, healthy aquariums and ponds for over 20 years — and we're looking for a reliable, hands-on team member to join us.

About the Role

You'll be travelling around Melbourne (mostly South-East suburbs) maintaining aquariums and ponds for our clients. No two days are the same — one day you might be servicing a koi pond, the next installing a tropical fish tank in a school or office.

Main tasks:

  • Clean and maintain aquariums, filters, and ponds
  • Water testing, fish health checks, and algae control
  • Deliver and install aquarium equipment, fish, and plants
  • Assist with leasing setups (schools, aged care, offices)
  • Provide friendly customer service and basic troubleshooting

What We're Looking For

  • A good attitude and reliability — we can train the rest
  • Mechanical or practical mindset (plumbing, filters, pumps, tools)
  • Comfortable working around fish and water
  • Current driver's licence (essential)
  • Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Good communication and presentation
