V.V.A Engineering is a leading engineering firm based in Gympie servicing a wide range of industries, from small local manufacturers to large multi-national companies in the timber, food and mining industries.
We are currently requiring a tube and pipe fabricator/welder.
The position available is full-time for the right applicant. Casual positions are also available.
About the Role
The successful applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Competent Tig/Mig welding, both mild and S/S
- Trade qualified with a minimum of 4 years experience post apprenticeship
- Knowledge of and adherence to WHS Principles
- Exceptional organization and communication skills
- Ability to read / interpret engineering drawings
- High accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to manage time and workload effectively
- Ability to work both in a team environment and unsupervised
- Must be well-presented as a large majority of our work is completed on customer job sites
- Must maintain excellent hygiene as V.V.A Engineering is involved in the food industry
