About the role

Brisbane Private Hospital is seeking an experienced Anaesthetic Technician to join our Anaesthetics Department on a full time or part time basis.

Shift times for this role vary between 630am-9pm Monday to Friday with the occasional oncall and weekend shift.

As an Anaesthetic Technician your responsibilities will include:

• Deliver evidence based care
• Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team
• Ensure patient and staff safety
• Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health journey

Brisbane Private is a 181 bed acute and rehabilitation hospital with 17 operating theatres conveniently located above the Roma Street Parklands. Specialties include neurosurgery, orthopaedics, spinal, plastics, urology, ENT, Rehabilitation and general surgery and delivery of Brisbane's leading private drug and alcohol programs from Damascus Health Services.

Essential Criteria:

• Diploma of paramedical science of Anaesthesia
• A willingness to learn in your chosen area
• Commitment to Quality Patient Care
• Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
• Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Works well independently and within a team
• High level organisational skills to meet time constraints

Remuneration: If you are successful, you will receive a salary based on the current Enterprise Agreement the "Healthscope -Queensland- Non-Clinical Enterprise Agreement " (salaries range between $ $40.27/hr)
