Precast Labourer

About the Company

Commercial Precast located at the northern end of the M1 in Beresfield, NSW.

We are a Hunter based company specialising in the production of precast panels for the commercial and industrial markets.

We are currently seeking Precast Labourers located in the Newcastle area. You will be responsible for assisting in the production of precast concrete walls for local and country projects. This is a hands-on role that requires physical labour and attention to detail to ensure the highest-quality manufacture of precast panels.

Although experienced applicants are always welcomed, this role is also open to people who are keen to learn.

About the Role

• $ $ OT Depending on experience.

• Ongoing work with view to permanency for the right candidate.

• Assisting with making and placement of reinforcement mats.

• Assisting with the production, pouring, and finishing of precast concrete.

• Preparing, assembling, and disassembling formwork and moulds.

• Maintaining a clean and organised work environment.

• Following all safety protocols and procedures.

What we're looking for

• Previous experience working in a construction or manufacturing environment, preferably in a precast concrete facility.

• Basic use of hand and power tools.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Good physical fitness to perform manual labour tasks.

• Understanding of workplace health and safety regulations.

• Ability to read workshop drawings would be looked upon favourably.

What we require

• WHS White Card.

• Current drivers licence.

• Ability to work 5 days per week.  Some Saturdays will be required.

• Ability to start early. 4:00 – 5:00 am.

• To be able to work in a team environment and follow instructions.
