Modern Workplace Support Specialist

Reporting into the Service Desk & Workplace Lead, the purpose of this role is to contribute to the success of Angle Auto's Service Desk & Workplace team. This is achieved through;

• Modernising and evolving our end user computing & Workplace services, ensuring they are secure, performant, and consumed in a frictionless way.

• Being a subject matter expert and mentor to other members of the team in all things EUC & Workplace related.

• Supporting the Service Desk & Workplace team in providing high level support to our end user computing & mobile fleet.

Core Responsibilities;

• Manage & maintain Mobile Device Management platforms including Microsoft Intune & Apple Business Manager.

• Build, develop and operate Modern Workplace services within the Microsoft platform – Outlook, MS Teams, SharePoint & administer AV devices.

• Administer & support workplace devices including laptops, tablets, mobiles & meeting room technology.

• Maintain SOE / Windows 10/11 operating environments to align with modern standards & contribute to how we evolve SOE builds & deployments using Autopilot.

• Oversee OS & application updates, including patching & vulnerability management, ensuring compatibility & alignment with compliance & business standards.

• Oversee application packaging & software deployment using MS Intune.

• Collaborate with other operational teams to support end users and the modern workplace platform, resolving service requests & incident escalations as necessary.

• Work with the Service Desk team to provide IT support as required to the Brisbane office, adhering to agreed SLA's

• Using PowerShell and other tools, work with the Security Operations team to deploy vulnerability remediation.

• Administer the Microsoft AVD environment, supporting high demand project teams.

Qualifications;

• Diploma in Technology or equivalent

• Relevant industry certification such as MS Intune essential

Experience;

• Significant experience in a multi discipline IT Support environment supporting windows laptops, Samsung and iPhone mobile devices, printers.

• Strong experience with Microsoft 365 admin including Exchange, SharePoint, MS Teams.

• Advanced MS Intune & mobile device management experience including device enrollment & compliance policies.

• Experience within a Service Desk environment using an ITIL based ticketing system, preferably ServiceNow.

• PowerShell – Read, create, modify & run scripts.

• The ability to focus on and meet key Service Level targets.

• Advanced skills in process development and workflow management.

• Proficient in time & priority management.

• Ability to perform in a multi skilled role, assisting other technical team members to be successful in alignment with shared company values.
