Overview
This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate to join MyRacehorse Australia in a dynamic, hands-on role that spans customer service, digital operations, and owner engagement.
You'll work across multiple areas of the business, from supporting our customer community, supporting our merchandise operations, to maintaining and improving our website and digital platforms. You'll also play an active role in connecting with owners directly, gathering feedback, and helping shape their journey with MyRacehorse.
This role is ideal for someone who wants to learn fast, take ownership, and gain broad exposure across different aspects of a growing startup. You'll be joining a small, collaborative team where your ideas are valued, your impact is visible, and your growth will be supported as both the business and your career develop.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service Lead
- Be the first point of contact for all inbound customer inquiries via email, phone, and social channels. Ensure every customer interaction reflects our commitment to excellence and care.
- Investigate and resolve customer problems promptly and effectively, ensuring clear communication and follow-up to drive satisfaction and loyalty.
- Proactively identify and act on opportunities to improve the customer journey. Anticipate needs, escalate issues when necessary, and maintain a customer-first mindset across all touchpoints.
- Work closely with marketing, operations, and racing teams to ensure seamless communication and a consistent customer experience.
Mane St (Merchandise)
- Lead all customer communications and support related to Mane St products, orders, and fulfilment.
- Regularly update and optimise product listings, ensuring accurate descriptions, pricing, and availability across all channels.
- Liaise with suppliers and fulfilment partners to ensure timely delivery, quality control, and smooth logistics.
- Work closely with internal teams to develop new merchandise ideas that align with the MyRacehorse brand and customer demand.
MyRacehorse Platform Support
- Work with internal stakeholders (including the Marketing & Product teams) to update and refine website pages using WordPress and Elementor.
- Regularly review site performance and user experience, flagging and fixing any issues to maintain high functionality and brand consistency.
- Assist in developing new web pages, landing pages, and features that improve customer experience and reflect brand priorities.
Ownership
- Play a key role creating the best possible experience for MyRacehorse owners through regular interactions and conversations
- Gather feedback, understand individual experiences, and identify opportunities to enhance owner satisfaction and engagement
What are we looking for?
We're looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual who's ready to dive into a dynamic, hands-on role in a fast-growing business. You'll be someone who's eager to learn, thrives in a collaborative startup environment, and wants to gain broad experience across customer service, digital operations, and owner engagement.
- A tertiary level Bachelor's degree is required. Preferably a Commerce, Business or related degree
- Are tech-savvy and comfortable working with digital tools and platforms (WordPress, Shopify, or e-commerce systems are a plus)
- Have great communication and relationship-building skills
- Have strong problem-solving abilities and enjoy improving systems and processes
- Ownership of your work and follow through with accountability and initiative
- Possess excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy across all tasks
