Latrobe Regional Health is looking for Clinical Nurse Educator (Theatre) to join our growing team on a part-time (0.6EFT) ongoing basis.

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Clinical Nurse Educator to join our Education team. This role is pivotal in delivering high-quality education and training to staff, with a focus on enhancing the skills and competencies of those working in the operating theatre. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with the Education Training Unit to ensure staff development is aligned with best practices, industry standards, and LRH's policies.

The role of the Clinical Nurse Educator (Theatre) is:

  • Develop, deliver, and evaluate education and training for LRH's Operating Theatre staff.
  • Ensure educational resources are current, evidence-based, and aligned with LRH policies, ANZCOR, and NSQHS standards.
  • Monitor and manage the uptake of mandatory learning activities in line with LRH policies and training matrix.
  • Collaborate with clinical education teams to review compliance data for mandatory training.

About you

Ideal candidates for this role will have:

  • Current registration as Division 1 Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
  • Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in a high-acuity setting, with expertise in training or mentoring others.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a commitment to collaboration and continuous professional development.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and respond to operational needs.
  • Advanced computer literacy and Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (desirable).
