About the Role:

As an Occupational Therapist with Down South Therapy, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our clients. You'll work closely with children, adults, and families to assess, diagnose, and treat a range of diagnoses and presentations. Your role will involve developing and implementing individualised treatment plans, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and contributing to community outreach initiatives.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Work from our Rockingham office, schools and the community, supporting children, teenagers, and adults
  • Provide 1:1 and group therapy, collaborating with teachers and families
  • Develop and deliver individualised therapy plans in a transdisciplinary team
  • Work within location-based schedules to limit travel and maximise client impact
  • Work with community-based clients to expand your clinical interests
  • Take part in weekly supervision and mentoring to grow in your role
  • Contribute to projects, team learning, and innovation in your area of interest

You Will Need to Have:

  • Relevant Occupational Therapy Degree/Masters qualification
  • AHPRA Registration
  • Working With Children Check
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • National Police Check
  • Driver's Licence

It would be desirable for you to have:

  • Experience with Autism in ESC settings
