Qualifications & experience

  • Qualified motor mechanic
  • Must hold Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology or equivalent motor mechanic qualification
  • Must have driver license
  • Must hold a valid car licence (C class)
  • Minimum 1-2 years of motor mechanic experience required
  • May consider 4th year apprentice
  • Must have Australian work rights

Tasks & responsibilities

  • TALKING TO CUSTOMERS AT TIMES
  • BE WELL SPOKEN
  • READ WORKSHOP MANUALS
  • CAR SERVICING
  • VEHICLE BREAK DOWN REPAIRS IN FULLY EQUIPPED WORK VEHICLE- THESE ARE GENERALLY MINOR REPAIRS. ALL MAJOR REPAIRS ARE DONE AT THE WORKSHOP
  • A/C REPAIRS- WE SPECIALISE IN AIR CONDITIONING REPAIRS
  • AIR CONDITIONING TRAINING PROVIDED
  • BRAKE AND CLUTCH REPAIRS
  • SOME MINOR ELECTRICAL REPAIRS
  • HELPING AND GUIDE APPRENTICES
