We are looking for a Marketing and PR Coordinator in Kununurra to assist the Sales and Marketing team promote the HMC Group of companies to domestic and international markets. This includes tourism and charter products across the group of companies.
About the role
The Marketing and PR Coordinator is responsible for growing online channels, driving direct sales and assisting with day-to-day marketing and PR activities. The role will assist in the planning, execution and optimisation of our online marketing efforts, promoting our products and services through digital and traditional marketing channels, to increase the brand awareness of all companies. This position will also coordinate our Sponsorship Program, ensuring all PR opportunities are leveraged from sponsorships across the group.
The HMC Group of companies includes Nexus Airlines, HeliSpirit, Aviair, Bungle Bungle Guided Tours, Bungle Bungle Savannah Lodge, Kimberley Experiences, Freshwater East Kimberley Apartments, and Australian Helicopter Academy.
Key duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Produce day-to-day social media content and advertising collateral

Coordinate Email Marketing Data bases and customer data collection

Compile monthly reports of merchandise stock takes and distribution

Organise sponsorship requests and produce PR plan for NexusGO and Group Sponsorships

Record and collate data from all types of customer service feedback forms. Present monthly reports. Including Trip Advisor, social media and Google Reviews

Local brochure distribution, maintaining stock levels and monitoring brochure
displays at all sales agents and relevant local and East Kimberley businesses. -
Represent the company at markets, shows and events. Including Caravan & Camping Shows as requested and business networking events. These may be outside of normal working hours.
Key skills and attributes required:
Have a strong sense of passion for the Marketing field with initiative and a willingness to learn. This position offers a lot of growth possibility.

Strong understanding of all online channels, best practices, and analytic reporting

Efficient multitasker with excellent copywriting and copy-editing skills

Sense of ownership and pride and be able to handle confidential material responsibly

Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite

Outstanding organisational skills with a strong attention to detail

Efficient with good time management and communication skills
Desirable experience

2-3 years' work experience in marketing, sales, digital media, or similar industry

Knowledge of content management systems

Photo and video editing skills

Knowledge of the inbound and wholesale tourism distribution system
