About the Role.

We are looking for a skilled Fitter to join our Maintenance team. Develop and advance within our continuously growing business. Participate in scheduled preventive maintenance and operate specialized machinery.

Qualifications & experience

  • Trade qualification - Mechanical qualification MUST.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven experience with Steam and Air systems is preferred.
  • Experience in prioritising jobs and multitasking.
  • Experience in any of the following would be advantageous: welding, construction, manufacturing, boom lift, plant operations, and elevated work platform.
  • Strong understanding of OHS.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Working on new equipment installations and upgrades.
  • Attending to breakdown call-outs and Preventive Maintenance.
  • Responsible for fostering a strong relationship with the production manager and the systems officer to ensure. Priorities are being met, and maintenance schedules are fulfilled with minimal disruption to production.
  • Regular monitoring of equipment and machinery, checking in with operators to ensure machinery is running as expected.
  • Providing service to all factions of the business from Production through to Logistics.
