About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Assistant Retail Manager to join our team at Totally Workwear Central Coast in Tuggerah. This full-time role will see you assisting the Store Manager in the day-to-day operations of our busy workwear store. You will play a key role in driving sales and providing excellent customer service in a fast paced environment. The position requires a person with a keen eye for detail, is a fast learner and communicates well with customers & in a team group.
What you'll be doing
- Assist the Store Manager in the day-to-day operations of the store.
- Drive a culture of customer service excellence.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve sales targets and customer satisfaction.
- Help in overseeing inventory management, including stock ordering and control.
- Facilitate staff training and development, contributing to a knowledgeable and skilled team.
- Ensure the store maintains a professional, well-organised, and safe environment.
- Implement company policies and procedures, while providing feedback for continuous improvement.
What we're looking for
- Proven experience in a retail management or supervisory role.
- Honest, positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
- Reliable, organised and detail oriented.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Familiarity with merchandise management and sales principles.
- Flexible to work some weekends
- Computer-savvy (POS system experience preferrable)
