Medical Receptionist

We are looking for our next Medical Receptionist superstar to join our fantastic team in Butler. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced receptionist to grow their career path in a dynamic and exciting environment. This is a casual position of around 25-30 hours per week with a view to permanent part time for the right individual.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure the smooth day to day running of our busy front desk
• Process online claiming including Medicare reconciling and batching
• Patient billing and receipting ensuring complete accuracy as well as following up on outstanding payments and DNA fees
• Opening and closing the practice (some 7.15am starts and 5.30pm finishes M - F and Sundays) Flexibility to work a variety of shifts across these days and times is essential.

To be successful in this role you will need:

• A confident and friendly demeanor with exceptional customer service skills
• Previous medical reception experience
• Capable of working under pressure in a busy environment
• Experience with Best Practice and Xero highly regarded
• Flexibility with shifts and the ability to cover leave at short notice is an essential requirement for this role
