About the role:

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Night Despatcher to join our team at our Head Office in Nambour. This permanent position involves a variety of responsibilities and requires working as part of a rotating 4 on 4 off night shift roster.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Respond to incoming calls and provide timely, efficient support to customers.
  • Address and resolve customer service inquiries in accordance with operational procedures.
  • Provide general administrative support to the team.
  • Oversee communication within the Despatch office, including phone, radio, and email channels.
  • Coordinate and schedule dispatching of driver operators, trucks, and other response vehicles for both emergency and non-emergency situations, as well as transportation and equipment needs.

About You:

To be a successful applicant for this role you must be able to demonstrate:

  • Prior experience in customer service or a similar role.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in computer operations and software applications.
  • A positive, proactive, and solution-oriented approach.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team in a supportive role.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong time management and organisational skills.
