Role Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced professional to join our school as a HR & Compliance Manager for immediate start till end of Term 4.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for ensuring company policies and procedures comply with legal and ethical standards.
  • Working together with the Principal to communicate the requirements associated with all applicable HR-related legal/regulatory and compliance programs.
  • Stay up to date on all employee-related legislative and regulatory changes and/or developments.
  • Responsible for drafting policy, process and procedure to improve on the compliance posture of the organization.
  • Responsible for preparing and delivering compliance-related training and communications to employees.
  • Carry out employee relations investigations as requested by the business.
  • Assist in the implementation of the organizations WH&S Framework.

Key Selection Criteria:

  • Experience in similar role in K-12 school setting.
  • Relevant HR & Compliance educational background (i.e. BCom/BLaws).
  • 3-5 years experience in a HR or compliance related field.
  • Strong understanding of relevant employee laws and legislations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students and staff.
