Arrow Energy is a Queensland-based producer of natural gas and electricity to power homes, business, and industries.
Our Surat Gas Project is a 27-year project that will have the capability to produce enough natural gas to power the equivalent of more than four million homes every day.

We employ around 500 people and contractors, and have offices in Dalby, Chinchilla, and Brisbane.

To meet our growing demands, we are looking for a Application Services Owner to join our team.
The Role: Reporting to the Business Systems & Improvement Manager, purpose of the role is to lead the Application team to implement, support and maintain a company-wide spectrum of enterprise application portfolios to support current and future business objectives and outcomes and maintain continuity of Arrow's business processes and operations.
In addition, you will:
- Demonstrate a personal commitment to consistently role model Arrow's values, code of conduct, safety, and the environment.
- Establish positive and productive working relationships with key stakeholders.
- Model inclusive behaviours to create a safe environment where different views and perspectives are encouraged and valued.
- Ensure business continuity through efficient operational management, lifecycle planning and application governance via approved partnerships. Ensure operational readiness for new releases and upgrades, coordinating testing, deployment, and post-implementation support with internal teams and external vendors.
- Protect value and optimise applications and data services through effective governance, vendor management, service integration, contract, and financial management. Manage vendor and partner interactions to ensure consistent service performance, adherence to contractual obligations, and alignment with operational KPIs.
- Drive continual improvement and innovation through proactive, responsive, scalable, and flexible AMS delivery framework by analysing service metrics, gathering user feedback, and implementing process enhancements to improve responsiveness and flexibility.
- Oversee daily application support operations, ensuring incidents, service requests, problems, changes, and configurations are managed efficiently and resolved within agreed SLAs. Coordinate AMS and AD delivery and prioritization, ensuring timely execution of enhancements, fixes, and deployments that meet business requirements for speed, reliability, and scalability. Monitor application health and performance, proactively identifying risks to business continuity and initiating corrective actions through lifecycle planning and governance controls.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for service delivery activities, including operational dashboards, compliance logs, and financial tracking.
About You
You will demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills along with the ability to contribute to a high performing-team with a second-to-none focus on safety and integrity.
To be considered for this role, you will ideally have:
- Bachelor's degree in ICT, business, or related field.
In-depth understanding of applications portfolio management.
In-depth understanding of Service Delivery.
Enabling people, process, and technology to deliver integrated business outcomes.
Strong vendor management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proven leadership of a multi-disciplinary team
- Experience in managing a large integrated application portfolio
- Experience in SAP
