ServiceNow ITSM / App Engine Consultant
Location: Sydney, Australia
Contract Duration: 6 Months (Possible Extension)
Key Responsibilities:
ServiceNow ITSM:
Configure and customize core ITSM modules including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and Knowledge Management.
Implement best practices for ITIL-aligned processes using ServiceNow.
Integrate ITSM with other modules and external systems as needed.
App Engine:
Design and develop custom applications using ServiceNow App Engine.
Build reusable components, tables, forms, and UI elements tailored to business requirements.
Ensure applications are secure, scalable, and aligned with platform standards.
Workflows & Automation:
Develop and maintain complex workflows using Flow Designer and Workflow Editor.
Automate business processes and approvals to improve operational efficiency.
Troubleshoot and optimize existing workflows for performance and reliability.
General Platform Development:
Create and manage ServiceNow scripts (Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, etc.).
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Participate in platform upgrades, patching, and performance tuning.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience with ServiceNow ITSM modules and App Engine.
Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture and data model.
Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and ServiceNow scripting.
Experience with Flow Designer, Workflow Editor, and IntegrationHub.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
ServiceNow certifications (e.g., CSA, CAD, CIS-ITSM) are highly desirable.
