C&J Sheetmetal are looking for a Apprentice to join our team.
We offer a four day work week Monday-Thursday 6am to 4pm and optional OT on a Friday 3hrs X 1.5 (Time and a half) OT and 3hrs X 2 (Double time) OT.
To be eligible for this apprenticeship you must be:
About you:
- Maturity and a positive attitude
- Effective English reading, writing and communication skills
- Positive attitude with an eagerness to learn and follow instruction
- Basic knowledge of mathematics, geometry, and measurements.
- Australian drivers license and reliable transport
- The successful candidate will undergo a Certificate III in Engineering.
About the role:
- Cutting, bending, and polishing stainless-steel, Aluminum and Mild Steel
- Learning to interpret technical drawings
- Welding
- Assisting tradesmen
- General workshop duties
- Onsite and offsite duties
