Join Perth Symphony Orchestra as our Fundraising Coordinator and become the driving force behind bringing world-class orchestral experiences to over 125,000 West Australians each year

One day you will be crafting grant applications to support a regional community concert in Mandurah, the next supporting aspiring female conductors through our Women on the Podium initiative.

You'll work with an award-winning team that believes in breaking the rules and proving that classical music can be fresh, fearless, and absolutely for everyone. From bustling Perth venues to remote regional towns, school workshops and cultural engagement activities – your work will directly fuel PSO's mission to bring transformative music to every corner of WA.

About you

In this role, you'll be working with a passionate team, and happy to also find a quiet place to smash out a compelling piece of writing that describes an existing project. You will enjoy project management, working to deadlines, and have a keen eye for details and strategic alignment. If you're organized, love the arts, and want to make a difference, we encourage you to apply and help us create unforgettable music engagement experiences for our community

Key Responsibilities

The Fundraising Coordinator will manage the complete grant lifecycle from identifying and researching funding opportunities through to writing compelling applications and delivering comprehensive acquittal reports. You'll maintain detailed grant tracking databases, prepare strategic Board reports analysing grant revenue against budget targets, and ensure accurate data collection throughout project implementation for effective impact reporting.

The role involves developing relationships with government agencies, foundations, and corporate funding bodies to secure income for PSO's diverse programs. You'll coordinate grant submission timelines, assemble supporting materials including budgets and letters of support, and work closely with project leads to ensure all funding requirements and deadlines are met.

Additionally, you'll support marketing and communications efforts by developing case studies that demonstrate grant impact, ensuring proper funder recognition across all materials, and contributing to strategic planning that aligns funding opportunities with PSO's artistic and community engagement vision.
