Babysitter

Job Description:

We are looking for a caring, reliable, and responsible babysitter to support our family with childcare needs. The ideal candidate enjoys spending time with children, is attentive, and can provide a safe and fun environment.

Responsibilities:

• Pick up the baby from childcare in Bondi and bring home to Lakemba
• Supervise and engage the baby in age-appropriate activities
• Ensure the child's safety and well-being at all times
• Prepare simple meals and snacks
• Assist with evening and bedtime routines
• Light housekeeping related to childcare (tidying toys, dishes used during shift)
• Flexibility to occasionally travel with the family when needed
• Must remain fully attentive during working hours; no socializing with friends during the job

Schedule & Pay:

• Regular schedule: Monday to Friday, 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Occasional weekend hours as needed
• Availability for occasional travel

Requirements:

• Previous childcare or babysitting experience preferred
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (required for pickup)
• Strong communication skills and reliability
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Comfortable with travel and flexible scheduling
• Must not be a smoker
