Patterson Cheney Cars and Trucks is a dealership with several leading automotive brands, including Toyota, Mercedes-Benz, Holden, Isuzu, and multiple truck brands. To continue this success, we seek a couple of Customer Relations Specialists to join the team at our Customer Relations Centre in Dandenong.  

Key Responsibilities 

  • Answer incoming phone and internet enquiries in a highly professional and engaging manner

  • Supporting our car and truck dealerships by fulfilling requests, clarifying desired information, completing bookings and appointments and forwarding requests
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and timely resolution of issues
  • Identify and escalate complex customer concerns to the appropriate manager
  • Update relevant data and bookings accurately and immediately using multiple computer software systems
  • Assist in driving an effective performance culture through set KPIs.

This non-customer-facing role would suit a genuine team player with a 'can-do' customer-centric attitude—an ambassador for all brands under the Patterson Cheney banner. 

Skills & Experience 

  • Automotive experience is not essential; ideally, you will have a background in sales or customer service; in-house training provided
  • Personable, helpful and bright phone manner
  • Ability to quickly build rapport with customers
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures and policies
  • Ability to problem solve (every phone call is different)
  • Competency in the use of computer systems and programs
