About the Role

As a Finance Officer you will play an active role in the Fiveight business and for daily operations of the accounts payable function. Specifically, this includes ensuring all invoices are paid on time and core processes are documented and followed. This is a permanent position supporting the Fiveight team to enable our evolving and growing business to achieve its future vision.

The Finance Officer will support all aspects of the accounts payable function including:

  • Lead daily high volume Accounts Payable operations across property and hospitality divisions
  • Supervise AP staff and ensure efficient invoice processing and payment scheduling
  • Manage finance systems, shared inboxes, and vendor records
  • Review invoices, approvals, and expense claims for accuracy and compliance
  • Perform reconciliations and support month-end reporting
  • Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to resolve queries
  • Assist with credit applications, group invoicing, and process improvements

About You

  • You are tertiary qualified with a Bachelor's Degree in Business or Commerce or equivalent with an Accounting Major.
  • You have previous experience in a hands-on in a high volume and fast-paced Accounts Payable environment, with experience in leading a small team highly desirable.
  • You have excellent oral and written communication skills, strong attention to detail and ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the business.
