Deliver Impact Where Every Second Counts

We're looking for a passionate pharmacist to join our Emergency Medicine pharmacy team (full-time or part-time) working at Dandenong Hospital, providing care to one of Melbourne's most diverse communities. As an Emergency Medicine Pharmacist, you'll be a vital member of the multidisciplinary team, delivering best-practice medication management in one of the most dynamic areas of healthcare. You'll work closely with clinicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to ensure safe, effective, and innovative pharmacy services in emergency care.

This role offers the opportunity to:

  • Lead and support pharmacy services in Emergency Medicine

  • Educate and mentor pharmacists, interns, technicians, and students

  • Drive quality improvement and research initiatives

  • Collaborate across departments to enhance patient safety and care

  • Contribute to the development of tools and procedures that shape pharmacy practice

You'll be part of a collaborative team of 10–12 pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, working together and as part of the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.

About You:

You're a forward-thinking pharmacist with a passion for Emergency Medicine.

You bring:

  • Proven experience in Antimicrobial Stewardship or Infectious Diseases pharmacy

  • Hospital pharmacy experience

  • Strong clinical education and supervision skills

  • Project and change management capabilities

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills

  • A collaborative mindset and ability to thrive in multidisciplinary teams

  • Involvement in external specialty groups (desirable)

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (desirable)
