About the Role

We're seeking a Senior Full-Stack Developer who can take WooCommerce well beyond a traditional online store — turning it into a scalable, high-performance, multi-channel ecosystem that powers everything from bullion trading to next-generation digital products like gold saving and investment platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Platform Development

  • Lead the evolution of Jaggards' WooCommerce platform into a feature-rich, data-driven powerhouse.
  • Architect, design, and build new digital products, including investment dashboards, gold-saving platforms, and account management systems.
  • Develop secure authentication, wallet management, and transaction logic for digital asset platforms.

API & Systems Integration

  • Build and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs for communication across ERP (Microsoft Business Central), CRM, and vaulting systems.
  • Integrate live pricing, order processing, and customer data between front-end and back-end systems.
  • Implement scalable data pipelines and automation for business operations.

Front-End Experience

  • Create responsive, intuitive, and engaging customer interfaces across web and mobile.
  • Customise WooCommerce themes and plugins to support advanced user journeys and digital investment features.

Microsoft Power Platform

  • Develop internal tools using Power Apps and Power Automate to streamline workflows.
  • Build reporting dashboards and process automation to improve efficiency across departments.

Technical Leadership

  • Work closely with leadership to translate business ideas into scalable digital products.
  • Maintain a clean, secure, and well-documented codebase.
  • Evaluate and implement new technologies that enhance performance and customer experience.

Skills & Experience
  • 5+ years' experience in full-stack development (PHP, JavaScript/TypeScript, MySQL).
  • Deep understanding of WooCommerce/WordPress and custom plugin development.
  • Experience designing and integrating REST/GraphQL APIs.
  • Exposure to digital wallet, payment gateway, or fintech platform development.
  • Cloud deployment experience (Azure preferred, AWS/GCP acceptable).
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, and Business Central.
  • Strong understanding of security, authentication (OAuth2/JWT), and data protection best practices.
  • Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and agile project environments.
  • Ability to work autonomously and deliver end-to-end solutions.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in fintech, e-commerce scaling, or digital product startups.
  • Knowledge of Python or for microservices and data automation.
  • Understanding of UX/UI principles and modern front-end frameworks (React/Vue).
