The Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated on-site General Practitioner to join our growing team, providing medical care to residents within aged care facilities across Nelson Bay and surrounding areas.

This role offers a truly rewarding opportunity to practise relationship-based medicine within a supportive and well-structured model of care. As a GP with Access Aged Care, you will be part of a coordinated multidisciplinary team — including experienced nurses, telehealth specialists, and administrative staff — all working together to deliver comprehensive, patient-centred care.

Our model is designed to reduce administrative burden, giving you the freedom to focus on clinical care and meaningful patient interactions. You will enjoy professional autonomy, a manageable caseload, and the opportunity to see the direct and lasting impact of your care on residents, their families, and facility teams.

Requirements:
  • Availability: 1 day per week
  • AHPRA Registration:General or Specialist registration (no conditions).
  • Fellowship: RACGP or ACRRM Fellowship required.
  • Tech-Ready:Comfortable with system-based reporting and familiar with common clinical software.
  • Equipment: Must have access to a personal laptop.
