What You'll Be Doing
As the Social Media Lead for the ANZ region, you will own the social strategy end-to-end for the local social accounts, driving consistent brand positioning and measurable growth.
- Lead Strategy & Growth: Develop and launch the overarching social media strategy for the ANZ accounts to significantly grow audience and build vibrant online communities.
- Editorial Ownership: Own all social content decisions-from long-term campaign planning to day-to-day editorial calls, ensuring a consistent and engaging brand voice.
- Content Innovation: Oversee creative ideation and development to deliver innovative, best-in-class always-on social content across all major platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X, YouTube, and emerging ones).
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (Brand, Creative, Public Relations) and manage external social media and influencer agencies to champion social-first ideas and execute integrated global activations.
- Performance & Insight: Define clear goals and performance metrics; monitor, analyse data, and continuously iterate on strategy and creative to ensure maximum effectiveness. You'll present plans and results regularly to senior leadership.
Essential Skills & Experience
- 6+ years of relevant experience in social marketing, including creative development and editorial leadership.
- Demonstrated success in generating and executing large-scale social media campaigns across diverse digital platforms, with a clear track record of growing audiences and delivering on engagement metrics.
- Ability to develop strategy from scratch, defining customer-centric campaign goals and driving insights-driven decisions.
- Exceptional project management skills and experience managing multiple social channels simultaneously while maintaining brand efficiency.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and manage external social/digital agencies.
- A background or deep passion for the entertainment industry (TV and film).
- Strong analytic and quantitative skills; comfortable using data to develop, measure, and refine marketing programs.
- Experience launching and/or directly managing social accounts with over 1MM social followers.
- Proven ability to influence and communicate effectively with senior executives and champion new ideas.
