Accounts Officer

Covino Farms is a large vegetable farming operation, with diverse business operations – growing, processing & transport through the Eastern seaboard of Australia. Currently having some 150+/- workers on the farm.

We are offering a permanent part time position based at our Longford farm. An immediate start is available, and flexible working hours will be offered to the successful candidate.

As an accounts all-rounder you will efficiently manage all incoming accounts emails, review, code and process vendor and customer invoices, ensure prompt investigation of any inconsistencies, and assist with other general administrative duties, data entry and support as required.

We will be looking for an energetic person to join our small, close knit office team, with the ability to work independently and effectively manage and prioritize your own workload.

The successful applicant must possess:

• 2+ years accounts payable/receivable or general accounting/bookkeeping experience
• Well-versed in accounting software and intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• High attention to detail with an aptitude for accounts including good computer skills
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks
