LD Total is a multi-award winning landscape company specialising in landscape and irrigation design, commercial and residential construction, maintenance and residential lot packages.

LD Total are currently seeking General Gardeners to work within our company on our arterial roads contract. You need to be willing to work in a team environment to achieve time frame and schedule requirements, have a positive attitude and must have a driver's licence.

This is a full-time position based in the Northern Suburbs of Perth.

Responsibilities
  • Reporting to the site supervisor.
  • Maintaining large turf areas with ride on mowers, whipper snippers and edgers (using toro 3300/7500 whipper snipping and edging).
  • Setting up and following traffic management plans.
  • Blowing down pathways.
  • General tidy up and making the playground, parks and streetscapes safe.
  • Documenting and reporting on equipment faults.
  • Delivering a high-quality end product to exceed client's expectations.
  • Meet timelines and budgets.
Selection Criteria
  • Landscape maintenance experience and/or trade qualification (working towards) in Parks & Gardens or Horticulture (preferred but not essential).
  • Experience with ride on mowers, blowers, hedgers, whipper snippers, hand tools and power tools (preferred but not essential).
  • Strong commitment to safe work practices.
  • High level of personal work standards.
  • Ability to work independently and have excellent time management skills.
  • Capacity to work in all weather conditions.
  • Driver's Licence (manual / MR preferred).
  • Construction White Card.
  • First Aid Certificate (an advantage).
  • Traffic Management Qualification (an advantage).
