Pacific Welding Installations (PWI) is a mechanical/steel construction contractor specialising in the design, fabrication, and installation of welded structures.

We have extensive experience in the oil and gas industry across Australia and the Pacific Islands. We specialise in welded steel tank fabrication, pressure pipe welding, hydrotesting and mechanical construction to Australian, API, inclusive of International Standards with superior quality control and assurance processes.

Skills & Experience:

• Australian trade qualifications

• Tank experience

• Inner shield welding experience in NR211

• Valid confined space and working from heights ticket - within 2 years of completion

• Read and interpret engineering drawings

• Physically fit for the demands of the job

• Committed to safety and quality assurance

• Strong work ethic, reliable, collaborative approach, and positive attitude

• Ability to troubleshoot, demonstrates initiative and adapts to various situations

• Ability to work cohesively in a team environment and autonomously

• Effective time management

• Great verbal and written communication

• Flexible and able to work overtime where required

• Forklift license would be beneficial however is not necessary

Please note: success candidates will be required to pass a welding test in Brisbane QLD prior to being hired.
