Inasmuch Community Ltd is a modern, well established not-for-profit residential care facility located in the beautiful coastal town of Sussex Inlet on the NSW South Coast just a few hours from Sydney.

Our lovely facility consists of a 52 bed Residential care unit, a 30 bed secure High care unit, 59 Independent Living Units & Home Care Services. Our Management & Staff are committed to ensuring all our residents and clients receive the highest standard of care with both medical and personal needs considered.

To enhance our team, we are currently looking for Personal Care Assistants or Carers to work in both our residential care unit and secure high care unit who are positive, organised and energetic team players.

We are able to offer permanent fulltime, part time or casual roles to allow for work life balance.

Your Role will include, however not be limited to:

  • Providing assistance to our residents with many of their daily activities including; bathing, dental hygiene, dressing, grooming and personal care.
  • Willingness to work as part of a team providing effective personal care in a safe manner tailored to each residents needs.
  • Support the residents dignity, choice and independence.
  • Ensure the residents security and privacy and value their diversity and culture.
  • Complete accurate and timely documentation and report relevant information to Registered Nurses and Managers.
  • Maintain effective communication in the workplace, being respectful, open to change and kind in your approach.

Essential Skills, Knowledge and Experience are required:

The successful applicants must hold a Certificate III or IV in Individual Support and/or have a minimum 12 months hands on experience working in an aged care environment.

General Requirements

  • Current Flu Vaccination or willingness to obtain.
  • Evidence of Covid 19 Vaccinations
  • Willingness to obtain a Police Check if successful

Applicants must have current Australian work rights.
