What Is The Role
Part-time, five days, school hours or similar, onsite at our Newcastle office. This is a contract role (9-12 months parental leave cover). Possibility of role to become permanent after 12 months.

As an
Admin Assistant
, you will provide sales support to the sales team including procurement, processing renewals and quote preparation. This role is also responsible for providing a broad range of administrative support services across finance, sales support, and general office functions.

The following include but may not be limited to the responsibilities of the Sales Support Specialist:

  • Provide administrative and sales support to the sales team
  • Manage product quoting, ordering, receipting, and delivery
  • Coordinate small contract and license renewals
  • Maintain ConnectWise for tracking agreements, licenses, and sales activity
  • Monitor and manage internal stock levels and stock movements
  • Assist with warranty claims and supplier communications
  • Support proposal, presentation, and tender preparation
  • Organize sales events, campaigns, and mail outs
  • Liaise with suppliers regarding orders, deliveries, and backorders
  • Maintain positive supplier relationships and escalate pricing/timing issues as needed
  • Conduct stock takes and stays updated on the latest technologies
  • Greet visitors and manage calls, office access, and supplies
  • Coordinate freight, stock, and vehicle logistics
  • Support HR tasks, travel bookings, and event planning
  • Oversee property maintenance and admin processes
  • Perform general office administration as needed

Who We Are Looking For
Candidates must possess a strong grasp of sales workflows and technical capabilities, as well as:

  • At least 2 years of sales administration experience
  • Experience working in an MSP environment
  • Broad knowledge of IT infrastructure
  • Vendor Sales Certificates are a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Able to liaise with individuals at all levels of an organization and maintain strong relationships
  • Strong communication skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
