A
Tier-1 Private Equity and Advisory firm
is seeking an experienced
Data Analytics Consultant
to design and build a
portfolio management tool
for a leading
residential aged care operator
.

The project involves creating a
data platform
(Excel-based or dashboard) that integrates internal and market data to help senior management assess
portfolio performance
and
growth opportunities
.

This role suits a
commercially minded data professional
or
ex-strategy consultant
skilled in turning complex, messy datasets into clear, actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and build a
    portfolio and market mapping tool
    integrating multiple data sources.
  • Develop
    analytical models
    to assess performance and identify growth opportunities.
  • Structure complex datasets into an
    intuitive, decision-ready tool
    .
  • Review and improve existing data models and frameworks.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure outputs meet strategic needs.
  • Create
    documentation and user guides
    for ongoing use.

Your Background

Essential:

  • 5+ years of experience in
    strategy/management consulting (MBB or equivalent)
    or
    data analytics/data science
    roles with demonstrated commercial application.
  • Exceptional Excel modelling skills
    , with proven ability to work with complex and unstructured datasets.
  • Strong
    commercial acumen
    and the ability to translate data into strategic business insights.
  • Experience designing
    portfolio management tools
    ,
    market mapping frameworks
    , or similar analytical platforms.
  • Self-directed and independent working style with strong
    stakeholder management
    capability.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to present analytical insights to non-technical audiences.

  • Background in
