In this role you will directly report to Cafe Owners and lead a dynamic team to deliver the Zookeepers Broome values and be part of our future growth.

About the role

Zookeepers Broome' is seeking an experienced Breakfast Chef to join their dynamic team at our Cable Beach location. This full-time role will see you leading the breakfast service and ensuring our guests start their day with a delicious and memorable dining experience.

What you'll be doing

  1. Preparing and cooking a wide variety of breakfast dishes to a consistently high standard
  2. Collaborating with the kitchen team to maintain efficient kitchen operations
  3. Ensuring all food preparation and service meets health and safety regulations
  4. Providing excellent customer service to our guests
  5. Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment
  6. Assisting with inventory and ordering of kitchen supplies

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 2 years' experience as a Chef, with a focus on breakfast/brunch service
  2. Strong culinary skills and knowledge of breakfast menu preparation
  3. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure
  4. Passion for providing high-quality customer service
  5. Good communication and teamwork skills
  6. Food safety and hygiene certification
