About the opportunity

This casual position offers full-time hours Monday to Friday, starting at 6:30am each day. Based in a boarding school environment, you'll assist with the setup and delivery of breakfast, morning tea, and lunch services. You'll also support the Chef Manager with general catering duties as needed. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong work ethic and a passion for food service to step into a consistent relief role.

The Role:

Cater Care Gather seeks to appoint a Catering Assistant at one of our key education sites in Rose Bay

What This Role Involves:

Assisting with food preparation

Customer service - serving our residents meals and snacks

Re-stocking as required, and after meal periods

Dishwashing and cleaning kitchen & dining areas

Maintaining food hygiene and safety practices

Fast, effective service throughout busy periods - with a good attitude

Skills and Experiences:

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Experience assisting in kitchens, food preparation and/or customer service

Ability to work well independently and as part of a team

Pride in personal appearance & hygiene
