Batcher Operator

Our client, a trusted name in chemical manufacturing and supply, is seeking a reliable and experienced Batcher Operator to join their team in Laverton.

This is a hands-on production role ideal for someone with chemical batching experience, sound forklift operation skills, and the physical capability to perform manual handling duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely batch and handle Aluminium Chloralhydrate and other chemical products.
• Operate batching and blending equipment in line with production requirements.
• Conduct manual handling and transfer of raw materials and finished products.
• Safely operate forklifts for material movement and loading/unloading.
• Maintain accurate batch records and adhere to safety and quality standards.
• Follow all site safety procedures, PPE requirements, and environmental guidelines.

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in a chemical, manufacturing, or industrial environment.
• Knowledge of chemical handling and safety protocols.
• Current Forklift (LF) licence and competency operating forklifts.
• Physically capable of performing manual labour and lifting as part of daily duties.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow batching instructions accurately.
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
