About ATOM

We're expanding our regional operations and looking for a capable Warehouse Supervisor / Manager to lead performance at our high-volume Mackay Distribution Centre.

About the Role

You'll lead day-to-day operations across receiving, inventory, picking, dispatch, and safety—ensuring service excellence for some of the region's most important industrial clients. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on driving operational execution, WHS compliance, and team performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise a team of 5–20 warehouse staff across all shifts and workflows

  • Manage daily inbound and outbound operations, ensuring service levels and safety targets are met

  • Drive stock accuracy through cycle counts, stocktakes, and proactive inventory management

  • Embed continuous improvement using lean tools such as 5S and Kaizen

  • Oversee equipment use and certification compliance, especially forklifts and MHE

  • Leverage WMS systems and dashboards to manage performance and reporting

  • Collaborate with Sales, Procurement and Head Office to ensure customer fulfilment

  • Champion ATOM's safety-first culture across the warehouse

What You'll Bring

  • Proven leadership in warehouse or distribution centre environments

  • Deep understanding of WHS regulations and practical implementation

  • Experience with WMS platforms and operational KPIs

  • Ability to train, coach, and hold a team accountable

  • Strong problem-solving, planning, and communication skills

  • Knowledge of Mackay/regional logistics (advantageous)
