Role: Senior Accountant – Public Practice

Location: Torquay, Victoria (Full-time, office-based with one WFH day per week)

Key Requirements

• CPA or CA qualified (or equivalent – no exceptions)

• Minimum 5 years' experience in Australian public practice accounting

• Demonstrated ability to prepare and review: Individual, Company, Trust, and Partnership tax returns

• Strong technical knowledge of Australian taxation and compliance obligations

• Excellent client service skills and ability to manage client relationships independently

• Confident communicator (written and verbal)

Role Scope

• End-to-end preparation and review of tax returns and financial statements

• Direct client advisory and relationship management

• Involvement in tax planning and structuring for SME clients

• Professional, ethical, and proactive

• Comfortable working in a smaller, hands-on team environment
