Your new role:
As a Nurse Educator, you will play a pivotal role at an advanced practice level, leading the design, implementation, and evaluation of nursing education programs within the Division of Medicine. Your expertise will drive a culture of continuous learning and professional development to enhance clinical outcomes and support strategic priorities in Nursing Services.
Lead the development and delivery of evidence-based nursing education and training programs aligned with best practice and organisational goals.
Collaborate with clinical leaders to support safe, compassionate patient care and promote workforce development.
Manage educational resources and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and nursing competencies.
Drive quality improvement initiatives through research, clinical practice standards, and staff performance coaching.
About you:
We are looking for a highly skilled nursing professional who thrives in an educational leadership role and is passionate about fostering clinical excellence and lifelong learning.
Registered Nurse with advanced clinical expertise and a deep understanding of nursing education principles and frameworks.
Strong communicator and collaborator, able to engage multidisciplinary teams and promote positive workplace culture.
Demonstrated experience in designing and evaluating clinical education programs and supporting workforce development.

The Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Hospital (QEII) is a medium metropolitan adult facility providing a range of inpatient and outpatient services including a 24-hour Emergency Department. We provide a range of services, including surgery, cardiology, endoscopy, orthopaedics, gynaecology, urology, geriatric, respiratory and emergency medicine.
We're making our hospital bigger and better to make it easier for our growing community to get the health care they need. We'll have more beds, medical wards and expanded intensive care and emergency services planned to be opened by 2027.
