About the Role

As a Demi Chef, you will support the kitchen team in delivering consistent, high-quality food across our outlets, including restaurant service, functions, and room service. You'll work closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to ensure smooth kitchen operations while maintaining excellent food and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with food preparation and service across all outlets
  • Ensure dishes are prepared and presented to a high standard
  • Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and stock control in your section
  • Follow food safety, hygiene, and WHS requirements
  • Support senior chefs during service and prep
  • Work collaboratively as part of a professional kitchen team

About You

  • Previous experience in a hotel or commercial kitchen
  • Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery
  • Strong work ethic and a passion for food
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays
