We have a very exciting opportunity for a person to join us in a full-time Training and Facilitating role, working in our Mowbray office, delivering training onsite and offsite.
No previous experience in delivering First aid necessary. All you need is a Certificate 4 in Training and Assessment or equivalent.
Candidates with qualifications in Secondary Education are also encouraged to apply. Support will be provided to upskill to deliver Vocational Education courses, for the right person.
Our facilitators play a key role in delivering a wide variety of accredited and non-accredited training programs to both corporate and public clients. Whether on-site at our training facility or at client locations, we offer courses in essential areas such as First-Aid, CPR, Advanced Resuscitation, Low Voltage Rescue, and more. All of our training is aligned with St John training frameworks, national quality standards, and follows strict organisational policies and procedures, ensuring the highest level of professional development and safety.
The successful candidate will have:
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve results.
• You must be energetic, engaging and enjoy delivering training to diverse groups of people.
• You must be adaptable in your delivery to cater for the needs of the students on any given day. This includes adapting quickly to assist people who may have learning difficulties, physical limitations and CALD background.
• Be a team player with a can-do attitude. We are a small team who rely on each other to get things done.
• Understanding of VET, RTO requirements and contemporary facilitating methods.
• You will need to be flexibility with start and finish times from time to time and travel intrastate when required.
• We are a progressive training organisation that utilises contemporary technology to deliver our courses. A moderate level of IT skills is important to this role and the ability to trouble shoot basic IT problems.
• You will hold a minimum Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or TAE40122) or equivalent and have demonstrated experience delivering accredited training in an RTO environment.
