We have an exciting opportunity for a Hydrologist to join our Civil team. As our client portfolio grows across the resources, energy and industrial sectors, this position will help support and expand our engineering and design capabilities. This a great opportunity for a talented and passionate Hydrologist to be part of a supportive and collaborative team.

We're looking for a skilled Hydrologist to deliver accurate and well presented design documentation using Agilitus systems and procedures. You'll work across a variety of projects, ensuring compliance with client specifications, Australian Standards, and regulatory requirements within budget and on schedule. Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills with colleagues and clients are key to success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Undertaking Hydrological/Hydraulic design tasks from concept through to construction
  • Developing and improving Hydrological/Hydraulic design tools for use across the Civil team
  • Seeking engineering innovation to increase project profitability and value adding for the client

Here's what you'll need

  • Tertiary qualification in civil engineering, environmental engineering, geography, data science/analytics or similar with industry experience
  • Ability to develop efficient methods of analysing hydrology and hydraulic aspects to address the level of design
  • Mid level of experience and ability in use of applicable engineering design systems and software
