About the role
We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to join our vibrant team at Oasis on Straddie Mexican and Woodfired pizza restaurant in Point Lookout, Queensland. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the restaurant's operations, ensuring exceptional customer service and a seamless dining experience for our guests.
What you'll be doing
- Managing and leading a team of front-of-house and kitchen staff to deliver outstanding service and food quality
- Overseeing daily restaurant operations, including scheduling, inventory management, and budgeting
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and licensing regulations
- Developing and implementing strategies to drive sales, improve efficiency, and enhance the customer experience
- Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers, vendors, and the local community
- Analysing performance data and implementing improvements to optimise the restaurant's profitability
- Fostering a positive and collaborative work environment for the team
What we're looking for
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar leadership role in the hospitality industry
- Proven track record of successfully managing restaurant operations, including staff, inventory, and budgets
- Strong customer service orientation and the ability to lead and motivate a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface effectively with all stakeholders
- Proficient in using restaurant management software and technology
- Knowledge of food safety, liquor licensing, and other relevant regulations
- Passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering an exceptional dining experience
