About the role

Discount Drug Stores Springvale is seeking a dedicated Part time Pharmacist to join our dynamic team in Springvale, VIC. As a Part time Pharmacist, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality pharmaceutical services and ensuring the well-being of our customers. This part-time position offers a flexible work schedule and the opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our pharmacy within the local community.

What you'll be doing

  1. Dispense prescription medications and provide counselling to patients on the proper use and potential side effects of their medications
  2. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and medication profiles
  3. Provide advice and education to patients on over-the-counter medications, health supplements, and general health and wellness topics
  4. Assist in the management and ordering of pharmaceutical stock to ensure the pharmacy is well-stocked and prepared to meet customer needs
  5. Adhere to all relevant pharmacy regulations, guidelines, and ethical standards to ensure the safe and effective delivery of pharmaceutical services

What we're looking for

  1. Registered Pharmacist with a valid license to practice in Victoria, Australia
  2. Minimum of 1 years' experience working as a Pharmacist in a retail or community setting
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, healthcare providers, and the wider community
  4. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities to ensure the accurate and safe dispensing of medications
  5. Flexible and adaptable to work in a fast-paced environment and adjust to changing workflows and priorities
