Metal Machinist

Ironstone Fabrications Pty Ltd is an established family-owned Metal Engineering shop located in Lake Grace rural Western Australia

We offer a range of services ranging from repairs to agriculture machinery, fabrication, build new super shed roofs, machining, and hydraulics.

We specialize in various fabricating to order, we custom build anything, we repair just about anything.

We offer a 24-hour breakdown service and have a mobile truck.

We are looking for a Metal Machinist (First Class) who is highly motivated, enthusiastic and a hard-working person to join our fast-paced team.

To be successful in this role candidates will need to possess the following

• Minimum 5+ years of lathe and milling machinery experience required
• Proven ability to carry out a wide variety of welding and fabrication.
• Operator general workshop equipment ie Gillo, Brake Press, Plasma, Radial Arm Drill, Lathe
• Maintain high level of Safety and Compliance
• Experience in general repair and maintenance of variety of equipment from varied Industries
• Be physically fit, be able to pass a drug and alcohol test
• Pre employment medical will be required
• The ability to work independently and part of a team
• Ability to work within a time cost billing environment
• Preferred working at heights and confined spaces tickets and Forklift License's
• Working with children's and police clearance is a must
• Machinist Trade Certificate required for this position
